You want me to hang a cake?! But... but... that defies the laws of nature! Yeah, that apple, it FALLS from the tree, remember? The last time I checked you shouldn't hang fluffy morsels of loosely affixed flour, sugar, butter and eggs.. IN MID AIR.
Pshhhhhh! RULES, SHMOOLS. Break em! It gets people all kinds of excited. 😉
THEN, I say we bring it a step further. Yes! Further! Let's, I don't know, add gorgeous real flowers! Yep, that's right, it's a hanging flower chandelier cake? Yes, yes indeed. If you're looking to make your own hanging chandelier wedding cake, you can find the tutorial for our stand in our shop or at the link at bottom of post (Note: we do not have a tutorial for attaching flowers, but we have faith in you and your florist!). I promise you will feel secure in your rebel cake hanging rule-breaking ways.
The eclectic, colorful flowers from Susan Noraker paired beautifully with the makeup and styling by Jessica Licata. The cake took inspiration from the tiny dainty beadwork on the dress (Mariel). I hand piped each individual bead and painted them with a metallic luster dust. All the beauty of Blaire was captured by with that sublimely romantic glow by the exceedingly talented Haley from Carnefix Photography. Honored to work next to such talented people to create this style shoot.
