I’m Avalon, and if you don’t know me yet… I’m your resident sugar mentor!

I’ve spent the last ten plus years obsessing over all things cake and sugar art, experimenting and often laying in bed late at night, working out in my head how to create something totally crazy. After making client cakes for years, taking on cake competitions, and starring on some of our favorite TV shows — I finally came to know my true love, teaching my craft to others. 

I created this online sugar school because it’s what I was looking for back when I was in the cake trench’s trying so desperately to figure it all out.

Our amazing guest experts and I have put together our years of knowledge, and we're thrilled to be able to share it all with you in Avalon Cakes School of Sugar Art!
