Ever came across a client who wanted an exact toy/figurine/object created perfectly out of sugar or cake?! Then you look at them and say, yeah I can do that! And you start building it, and it just comes out a little….off? Well, our scaling calculator is here to take the guessing out of the equation!

How do you use it? 

• Take your inspiration (toy/figurine, object), and measure one of the major variables (choose from drop down total height, total width, etc).
• Measure, and then plug that number in “The Original Measurements” box (making sure to choose the measurement unit you used).
• Now, in the “The Desired Resulting Measurement” type in what you WANT your finished product’s size to be and the unit of measurement you want to use.
• So, now that has created a “Variable” for all your calculations!
• Next, fill in all the necessary Original Measurements (be sure to stick to that original measurement unit, ie mm, inches, etc), you can choose from the dropdown menu or write in your own.
• The new measurements will be calculated for you to use on your sculpture/cake!

Note: Your “The Desired Resulting Measurement” needs to stay consistent with your Desired Unit of Measure. IF you change your mind on the DUOM, be sure to make sure your DRM is still correct.
